Books

I have always been an avid reader. My only issue is that there are sooo many books and not enough time to read them all!! I am going to having a running list of books that I have personally enjoyed as well as books we have shared as a family. I hope that you  find something new here to check out yourself, and please, in the comment section below, share your own personal favourites. Our family is always on the lookout for new good reads!

Please note that the titles may include a hyperlink to Amazon.ca. If you purchase an item within 24 hours of using a link from our site, we do earn a small affiliate commission. I just want to be upfront about this here and if you are uncomfortable with this in any way, please disregard using the hyperlink. If, however, you would like to support us in what we do at EmbraceEveryday, we thank you for your generosity in supporting us!

And now may we present to you some of the great works that have brought us to where we are today!!

The Not So Big House by Sarah Susanka

Ever since I was a young girl, I had dreams of becoming an architect. I really wanted to design homes for a living. When I played with my Lego, I would either create buildings or make blueprints in 3D. When this book first came out in 1998, I was hooked. Sarah does an incredible job of explaining the principles of design and the why’s behind it.

The fine print that we are required by Amazon to include on our website: Embrace Everyday is a participant in the Amazon.com.ca, Inc. Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.ca
