Wardrobe by Me just released the new Harmony T-Shirt PDF sewing pattern and it is just in time for summer in the northern hemisphere! It a fit and flare style with three different options. Two of the options are for a woven accent which is perfect for those small scraps of fabric that you love and couldn’t bear to throw away. You just knew that something would come along that you could use it with and here it is!
I made the view A with cap sleeves. But for those who are in the southern hemisphere and are heading into winter, there are also four other fitted sleeve options. The version I made has two angular woven pieces with ties at the neckline. View B also has a woven insert but with pintucks and a button up placket. View C is a scoop neck tee with no insert. The woven inserts have a lovely gathering of the knit fabric that attaches to the woven piece.
I made a size 12 and did my standard forward shoulder adjustment. I also lengthened the longer length version by 1 inch. I love the fit and flare style of this top. I decided to style it with my Frida Shorts, also from Wardrobe by Me. You can’t see them very well, but I do have a blog post I wrote about them. The shorts are still going strong and get a lot of use in the summer!
The fabric I used came from DG Patterns. I am a fabric ambassador for Daniella and I received this fabric in exchange for sharing my creation with it online. I fell in love with this 100% Cotton Organic Telio Knit fabric in TERRA color and I was very happy that it went so well with this “I Heart New York” that I had picked up at my local fabric store.
The Harmony T-Shirt was released this week and will be offered at the new release price of $9 US until Friday, June 14, 2019.
